That was a milestone for the both of us who weren't actually living an active life.
Last January, I took another ECG test and was stunned at the result, I was already cleared from the heart block.
Aside from our earnest prayers and the change in our diet, running, I believed has played a big part to help me get cleared from that dreadful situation (well, yes, it is for me. The mere fact that it can turn up to be a life threatening when worsen, I guess I can really consider it that way).
By February of this same year, we joined the American Chamber Foundation (Amcham) Funrun, which is one of the biggest event of the year.
We were resting and keeping ourselves warm after being soaked
from the rain during the last minute of running.
And last April 23, we also run in one of the most awaited funrun every year, the NatGeo Earth Day Run 2017.
It was fulfilling, though we are no veteran yet in this field. Especially, with the NatGeo Run where we level up our training. From 3 kilometers run, we trained for a 5k distance in less than a month.
With my sister in her very first fun run,, third wheeling us..again..❤
Today, we have made running a lifestyle, and we can now officially call ourselves, runners.
